Mystic Timbe 12 Large Hole 12 Tips Down Holes In Store Display

This was an early prototype for a cross between tips up and tips down displays. A combo. It actually might be a long handled clips / tips down display (Crossover btween tips down D$BBERS and Long Handled Ro@ch Clips (the tools sit with G2 Titanium tips facing down Ball, Pic, Flat).

This must be from 2011-2013 because you can see by the hot iron branding, it doesn't have the signature stacked logo. It's branding is the long handle tool brand, and the LARGE tree, that was specifically used for these early In-Store displays. The only way to know for sure would be to remove the felt.

The large holes look rougher than they later would look, so these were probably Jorgy prototyping how they would function.

This is a super-rare piece in the evolution of the original wood handled d@b tools. Most of these should be in a C@nna-museum, and will be a great piece to add to your legendary heady sesh collection.

Each of these displays were only available to retail stores. Every base is signed and dated "JORGY" by Mystic TImber founder Bruce "Jorgy" Jorgensen. They are hidden underneath the cork, felt, or whatever bottom material was used.

Displays for personal use like this are very rare, because few store displays were ever made that weren't sold to stores. They might have been kept because of unique natural wood "imperfections" like burls or natural holes that a store might register as flawed. Or we kept one just to keep an archive of a evolution of our design over the years.

We love the unique pieces and would keep them in the shop. But now that Mystic Timber is a retired brand, we are letting them go to true fans who would like them in their personal collections.
